Balsa de residuos de alpechines ilegal en Alcala de Xivert, que medioambiente, del que fuera conceller el Sr Cotino , En Valencia ,actualmente  imputado, quiere legalizar.

En el grupo de medidas de cambio fiscal recomendadas por la Unión Europea, el FMI y la OcDE esta una reforma a fondo en las mal  desarrolladas  imposiciones medioambientales, penalizando las emisiones de gases nocivos , el vertido de residuos tóxicos, el despilfarro del agua o la energía, a ver si así se empieza a preservar el tan maltrecho medio ambiente Español.

What does the Valencian public administration do?

An illegal residuals deposit which the Department of the Environment now wants to legalize and of which Mr. Cotino, in Valencia now indicted, was counselor.

Within the group of fiscal changes recommended by the EU, the IMF and the OECD, there is included a total reform of the so far badly developed environmental measures which would penalize damaging gas emissions, the deposit of illegal toxic residue and the waste of water or energy.. Let’s see if finally something/someone is beginning to protect the maltreated Spanish environment.

 

 

 

 

 

 

My Daughter Alexandra.

My daughter Alexandra did her first internship in advertising at Ogilvy NY during her summer holidays, just before starting senior year in college. A year later, after graduation, she applied for the graduate program there. Sadly, however she didn't make it through. Despite the anger and disappointment, she did not give up and sought work opportunities still at Ogilvy - this time in London. After several rounds of interviews she was hired to join their summer internship program together with another 9 bright graduates who were all competing for just 5 positions on Ogilvy London's prestigious 3 year Fellowship program. After 8 weeks of working extremely hard and balancing competitiveness with camaraderie, my daughter was selected to join the program. 

Fast forward 3 years, Alexandra successfully completed her "masters in advertising" and has decided to stay in a permanent position with the company - managing their digital innovations programs.

More than Quattrocentos years.

Yesterday , I was visiting the magnificent Prado museum, between Tizianos and Tiepolos I found this bull. I don´t know what on earth he is doing there.
It is amazing how much we have changed. From the old masters of the Quattrocento to the Google motion photography.

Spain is behind Europe in its capacity to innovate for which few like her. In the business of politics, however, she is probably one of the most extensive. 3,000,000 public employees, many of whom appointed at will amongst family members or friends, with a certain disdain for culture and a great liking for wasting money.

A generation of women, my generation, manipulated by a devastating ‘machismo’, continues to try to gain access to a culture which they always found forbidden. The generation of “at ten you are home”, possibly the most beaten up of all. Getting tangled up with a boyfriend in the car was sin. Pregnant women with money aborted in London, the rest clandestinely, risking their lives. Exactly like today. So what are we talking about, Mr. Ruiz Gallardón?

Spain, country of lies and corrupt democracy, places mediocre relatives in high positions, in exchange for favors.

I abhor politicians’ abuse of power, the multiplication of positions which are only slotted in, the lack of common understanding. There are few faultless public tenders, and many times no public hearings or admission of allegations in public hearings of local character. Social and economic subjects are never discussed with the people in public.

It is a business for a rare few. The same politicians move on to private enterprise, benefitting multinationals and bankrupt companies, all to the detriment of the people whom they ignore.

 

They expropriate land in order to run electricity cables to impossible industrial zones, devastating whatever lies in front, even if it is by way of serious environmental offense.
