Yes, It All Has Been Said.

We are in the midst of a great international moral crisis. Those of us who can paint are able to reflect the chaos with much more than words. We are the revolutionaries with a new creative resistance.Like Goya and his 3rd of May.

In this capitalist modern and postmodern culture within the Business Art World,  the conceptual essence of a written word  on a label produced en masse like ‘industry’, ‘product’, ‘market’, ‘, ‘investment’, ‘profitability’, ‘estimate’, ‘speculation’ sells more than an emotional  canvas depicting stupor with mastery.

I think it's all been done.  But we all still want to be original in this plural, chaotic modernity we live in, full of digital eccentricities. The only thing that has varied today is its support platform, works that are made in minutes, even in factories. Today, all that is commercial is abundant. In the contemporary/Business art, anything goes.

But in In the eighties something similar happened, the immediacy, the contradictions, spontaneity, the archaic, the primitive essence of eroticism, the hallucinatory, the obsolete academy, conceptualism, ideas, projects, pop, performances, graffiti, the aesthetics of destruction, disaster, catastrophe, opportunism, eclecticism, tension, and horrendous convulsive career of the isthmus displaced the art that preceded it.

Yes, it all has been said.
