For a Clean Environment
The other day, my daughter who
works in advertising told me: “No one will watch this recording, it’s too long
and repetitive”.
I was specifically looking for
something more than just a seconds-long image. We live in a society where the
value of time has disappeared. Everything is passing, mediocre and of an
amazing speed of use-and-throw-out.
With this recording, I wanted to
conceptually demonstrate how an idea is developed by way of images that speak
in silence. The concept of space is evidenced by the repeat image of a tree.
Using the same plane several times, one perceives the empty enormity of space
where it is possible to place an electricity post without cutting down healthy
trees. (THE CHILDREN REPRESENT THE IMPORTANCE OF PERSONS BY INCREASING THEIR
SIZE).
The idea of Freedom is
represented by breaking up the traditional Valentian dress with a brilliant cap
recently purchased in New York. I am doing without the hairdressing and
decoration of the head, a gesture which may be almost sacrilegious for the
local adepts of pasodoble.
The American flag incorporates 50
stars, one for each federal state. My cap has only one star, in representation
of the Community where I was born, but shines only half-way because the useless
authorities in power don’t allow it to glow more.
Por un Medio Ambiente Limpio.
El otro día mi hija que trabaja en
publicidad me dijo "MAMA ESTE VIDEO NO LO VA A VER NADIE, ES LARGO Y
REPETITIVO".
Precisamente yo buscaba algo más que
una simple imagen en segundos. Vivimos en una sociedad donde el valor tiempo ha
desaparecido . Todo es fugaz, mediocre y de un rápido de usar y tirar
apabullante.
Con este video he querido
demostrar conceptualmente como una idea se desarrolla a través de imágenes que
hablan en silencio.
El concepto Espacio , lo
evidencia la imagen repetida del árbol ,usando el mismo plano varias
se percibe la enormidad vacía, donde se puede
colocar un poste de luz ,sin necesidad de talar árboles sanos. (LOS
NIÑOS REPRESENTAN LA IMPORTANCIA DE LAS PERSONAS AUMENTANDO SU TAMAÑO)
La idea de Libertad la represento
rompiendo el emblemático atuendo regional Valenciano con una gorra brillante
comprada en Nueva York. Prescindo del aderezo de la
cabeza, gesto posiblemente casi sacrílego para los locales del pasodoble.
La bandera Americana tiene 50
estrellas que representan a los cincuenta estados.
Mi gorra tiene una sola , que representa a la comunidad donde nací , que
brilla solo a medias porque ineptos del poder no la dejan brillar mas
